High Dive
with Slender Means, Curtains For You

Don't get me wrong.

I love the High Dive.

The shows are always awesome, the crowd is always awesome, the bar is awesome.

It is all awsome except for the backstage storage options.

When you get 3 or 4 bands worth of gear packed into that little room and you have to leave access to the fridge and various closets that the actual employees need....it gets tight.

I tripped over someone's something while back there and hit my head on a wall.

As I laid there on a pile of guitar cases I thought to myself, "You know, they could at least install a dimmer switch in here for a bit of ambiance."

Then again, less light is probably not a great idea.

I'm full of not great ideas....I got a million of 'em.

Jima will be disappointed to discover that the "Bar" is actually just the roof of the hotel, no bar, and no railing either!
